Does an Extra Two Inches Really Matter?

I dunno, when something is 14,244 inches long does another 2 inches make a big difference?  Apparently it does when you are going for the largest cruise ship because the new Allure of the Sea is 50mm longer than its sister ship Oasis of the Sea.
