Megaloden .. Grandfather of White sharks

megalodon is regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators in vertebrate history. C. megalodon likely had a profound impact on structuring of the marine communities. Fossil remains indicate that this giant shark reached a total length (TL) of more than 16 metres (52 ft), and also affirm that it had a cosmopolitan distribution. Scientists suggest that C. megalodon looked like a stockier version of the great white shark, Carcharodon carcharias, in life.

    fake but it coult be alive, it appears he got extinct only 11000 years ago, that would mean its possible that he adjusted to the cold waters and headed for the deep, seen as 95% of the ocean depths are undiscovered, he could easely be chilling out there without us knowing.

    well of course its fake, the caption never said it was real. and like it said in the caption "scients suggest" and "fossil remains" you can obviously tell it has gone extinct. the pic is probably just of a great white or something blown up so u can c how big it would have been if it were still alive today

    There's a chance that it could be real and there's a chance that it could be fake. From my viewing it it looks totally real. I mean Look at it's Massive size and it's teeth The guy that pointed out that Megadalon's teeth are wide and pointy, thats true but there could be two megadolon's out there! So watch out when you go fishing and swiming in the beach

    It couls be actually an edited photo one will a close up of a shark and onother with a guy backing people away because the shadow on the shark don't look right!

      well guys... sorry to burst all of the bubbles of the beleavers... but this si totally fake. look at the bottom right section, that is murky water, not a wooden deck!! and those are definitely not megladon teeth. EVER HEARED OF SOMTHING CALLED PHOTOSHOP!??!?!?!?! NICE TRY BUT THIS WAS A SWING AND A MISS IN MY OPINION. this is just a blown up pic of a great white or somthing posted on another pic. also megladons lived millions of years ago... we werent even alive then.. let aone had cameras...

    I think this could be real, but considering it hasn't gained publicity worldwide, I doubt it is. But that would be so freaky/kinda kewl/wierd/SCARY if it is real...

    I believe it could be real , but not likely. Megaladon are massive shark and lived over 10 million yrs.ago, but I do believe there could be some still existing today. The one shown in the pic above is 52ft. And the avg. size for a megaladon is the size of a school bus(41ft.). There might be a slight possibility that there could be an oversized megaladon still existing today ,but not likely. I don't believe this is real. And besides how could they catch something that big? Or it might have swam there trying to eat some food and got stuck on shore and died of oxygen. But I still think those possibilities are highly unlikely, so I believe the pic is fake.

    I have video of an Ultralodon that was filmed in 85,000,002 B.C. - I'm just missing the data cable, which is discontinued (the camera's old). I'm also a king and a planet.

    Estos tiburones se extinguieron hace MILLONES de años atrás, incluso antes que la época de los dinosaurios. Asique este tiburón no pudo haber llegado con vida hasta el siglo 21 a no ser que algún investigador haya creado una máquina del tiempo y hubiera viajado al pasado y se haya traído a este enorme tiburón con él ...
    PD: Sé mas que algunos de acá y solo tengo 12 años.

    They never said this was a megaloden and it's not faked. It's a massive great white shark as you can tell by the teeth. The point of it is to show that great whites came from megalodons.
